Kick out
As soon as you leave the jump, swing the back of your bike either to the right or left then bring it right back in. You can get away with landing a little off center, but too much of a sideways landing will cause you to crash. Start out small until you reach the full 80 swing. Be sure to land with your bike straight. Throw in a bar-turn for style.
Take your preferred foot off of the pedal while in the air, and put it back on before you land. Start out by taking your foot off quickly and returning it quickly, then start to keep your foot out there kicking it out.
Take your preferred hand off the handlebar while in the air, and return your hand before you land. Try to keep your bars straight each time you do this. Start out by doing this quickly, and then start to keep your hand off of the bars a little longer each time.
Before trying this, make sure that your handlebars can clear your seat, and spin around the whole way. Hit the jump, pull up, and twist your handlebars 180 so that your arms cross in the shape of an X. Snap your bars back around, right before you front wheel touches the ground.
While in the air take your preferred foot off the pedal and over the top tube. Before landing, take your foot back over the top tube and place in back onto your pedal.
Knick-Knack
A knick-knack is like a can-can, but instead of taking your foot over your top tube, you swing your foot around the back of your bike and pull it over to the other side. Before landing, take your foot and swing it back around to catch your pedal.
This trick you can do to the right or left. For this example, I'll use right. Push down on your handlebars to the right and turn them down to the left at the same time, while using your right leg and lower body to push the rear of your bike up and to the left into a horizontal position. Gradually level your bike out more and more each jump, until you achieve a perfectly flat position.
While in the air, take both of your feet off the pedals and bring them back before you land. Start out small and then kick them out a little farther each time. You may want to tighten your cranks a little tighter, because they will spin in the air, so your will have to catch your pedals. If you don t feel that you are going to land it, just toss the bike and bail. When learning this trick, wearing shin pads is smart, because no one is sure to land a no footer every time while learning.
Pull up off the jump really hard and force your handlebars into your lap, before you take your hands off, so your bike is in a near vertical position. This will keep you from losing control, and your legs will hold the bike up. Little by little, take your hands off longer each time. To land, level out your bike and make sure that your hands are securely back on the bars.
Pull up off a jump, take your feet off the pedals and kick them back while straightening out your body. Hence the name, looking like superman. Before you land, pull yourself back on the bike and put your feet back onto the pedals. For style, take one hand off and grab the nose of the seat.
This means that you that your hands and feet off the bike while in the air. Before even attempting a nothing I recommend learning to pull off a no footer and a no Hander flawlessly. A soon as you take both your hands and feet of the bike, gravity is going to kick in, so you might have to catch up with your bike.
Before trying this off a jump, try it on flat ground. Do a bunny hop, but before you start to pull up, turn sharply to either the right or left. You won t come close to a full 360 , but you might pull a 180 or so. Now try this off a small sized jump going at a medium speed, turning before you leave the jump. Going slower, you can usually get by with an under rotation of about 270 , but at higher speeds off bigger jumps, an under rotation is less forgiving.
While in the air, lower the front of your bike down, take one hand off the bars, grab your seat, and turn your front wheel with the other hand 90 . Easier said than done.
Bar spin
Before trying this trick make sure that your brake cable is long enough and your bars clear the seat, or you have a gyro on your bike. Like a 360 , try this one on flat ground first, and then take it to a jump. Pull up into a manual, lean back and spin your bars 180 catching them before or right as your front wheel lands. Then try a full 360 bar spin the same way but whipping them around a little faster. You don t need a lot of air to pull a full bar spin off a jump. Lean back and pinch your seat with your knees so the bike is level and spin your bars. Make sure that you are familiar with spinning the bars and catching them before jumping.
Turndown
This trick is where you turn your bars 180 degrees and your bike is straight up vertical. You should also be standing almost upright as you would on the ground with your back somewhat bent. Master x-ups and you should get this trick with a bit of time and practice.
Decade
This is similar to a tail whip except your body goes around in a 360 degree turn with your handlebars instead of the back of your bike. This means you will have to get up off your seat and swing yourself around the front of your bike pressed against your handlebars and spin with them.
Superman-Seat grab
Do the superman, but this time take off one of your hands (whichever feels comfortable), and grab your seat. Then get all 3 limbs back on and land it! Good luck.
Manual
To manual all you have to do is lift your front end up and stop peddling. Shift your weight back to stay up longer. This is effective for racing over rollers and sometimes street riding. Its like a Catwalk without peddling, but catwalks are stupid.
NO FOOT KAN
Once again u will need a jump where u r in the air for a while.. ok basically all u need do is do a no-footer then take one of your feet and extend it over the top tube and then put everything back on.. lot harder then it sounds
TOBOGGAN
All these trick u need to be in the air for a while so aim going To stop writing it.. when u get of the lip take one hand off and grab the seat and turn the Bars 90 degrease then lean back and tilt the front end of that bike... put yaw hand back on and land
get a good pump off the lip pinch the seat with your knees then take both hands off and extend them backwards like u want to clap them behind your back.. put em back on and land
FATTY
Like X-ups everyone knows how to do them... just make your bike go flat in the air.. I don't know how to explain in just do it I spouse..
Same as A superman but take one hand off and grab the seat.
do a 360 and a bar spin at the same time... ok when u r about 180 degrease into the 360 pinch the seat with your knees and spin the bars then land.. a very hard trick..
What do u think?
CHAD KAY the only person I have seen do these.. do a superman seat grip and spin yaw bars... try it and see what happens..
Dunne never tried one..
Do a suicide no Hander and spin the bars at the same time remember to pinch the seat..
I love this trick. It's probably easier if u pinch the seat.. I don't but it would be easier. when u off the lip start taking your hand back towards your seat, while your are doing this turn you bars. by the time you grab the seat your bars should be Axed up, now get it stretched if you want.. keep holding that seat too.. then turn yaw bars back put yaw hand back on.. land
pretty easy if you have suicide no hinders wired.. just lean back pinch the seat grab it with both hands hold it for a while.. put hands back on bars.. land
very hard trick.. u just got to do it.. pump with your knees heaps.. just lean back and grab the seat as quick as you can.. your bars will dip but when you grab the seat they will stop.. but u can dip em more if yaw want to.. now lean back like your tiring to sit on yaw back tire.. then yank back hard on the seat get yaw hands back on and land..
at the same time as you turn your bars kick your foot back or to the side.. whatever u want to . then land clean. oh well hope this has helped
1. Approach the stairs or drop off at a speed your comfortable at.
2. When you reach the top of the stairs/drop off pull your bike up.
3. Keep steady while dropping.
4. Lower your back wheel before you're about to hit (so your back wheel hits before the front wheel).
5. When you land compress the shock w/ your knees.
1. Approach a ledge or whatever you're planning to grind on your preferred side at a comfortable speed. Not to slow or you'll fall off whatever you're grinding. Not to fast or you might wreck real hard.
2. Bunny hop and get you're back peg grinding and then set your front wheel down on top of what you're grinding.
3. When you run out of speed jump off of whatever you're grinding to the side.
1. Same as feeble grind but don't let you're front tire down. Keep it off the ledge as if you're in a manual.
1. Approach a ledge or whatever you're planning to grind on your preferred side at a comfortable speed. Not to slow or you'll fall of the grind. Not to fast or you might wreck real hard.
2. Bunny Hop onto the obstacle and let you're back wheel land and then get you're front peg grinding
3. When you run out of speed jump off of the grind.
1. Same as above grinds but you grind using two pegs on one side of your bike.
1. The best way to learn these is off of curbs.
2. Don't go very fast. Ride at a medium speed parallel to the curb.
3. Turn your handlebars to the side opposite the curb and then back towards the curb.
4. Then jump off the curb and spin 180 degrees. Do the same thing for 360's but just spin the extra 180 degrees. If you can't quite spin the 360 degrees land back wheel and spin the rest of it on your back wheel
1. Do the same as all the grinds but go slower so you don't grind you just stick.
2. Stay in that position the desired length then jump off to the side.
1. Ride at whatever speed you're comfortable at.
2. Bunny hop onto something and land back tire. Keep you're weight back so you're front tire won't touch. But not so much that you'll fall off your bike.
3. Stall in that position until you want to jump off.
4. Then just jump off.
Abbacy
1. Same as the Tail Tap except you jump off whatever you're on and land backwards and fake out of it and ride away.
1. Basically just an endow. You can also do this w/ a no footer thrown in which is called a no footed nose pick.
1. Basically a reversed icepack. You just use your front peg instead of your back peg.
1. This rarely used find two rails w/ a big enough space for your bike to go through the middle.
2. Bunny hop inside of the two rails and let all four of your pegs grind.
3. When you reach the end of the rails bunny hop off the rails and land back wheel first.
1. This is when you grind w/ one peg on each side. Get your desired speed and bunny hop on the rail. Let one peg go over the top of the rail and catch on the opposite side then get another peg on the opposite side of the bike catch.
2. Do this until you reach the end of the rail and then jump off and land back wheel first.
