April 23, 2000

Team Mutt is holding another flatland jam June 24-25 at the Spot in Danville, California. Forty-five riders showed up for the last jam, and since this one is happening in the summer it should be even bigger. For more information, call (925) 314-0464

Sponsorship Update

April 21, 2000

Chris Stauffer, Josh Heino, and Sean Emery have just signed a deal with Tip Plus Distribution. Tip Plus is the distributor of Primo and Terrible One, plus many other companies.

The deal is similar to many of the sponsorship programs in skateboarding. The three riders can get anything that Tip Plus distributes, this means that they can now pick and choose what parts they want to run on their bikes. This marks the first time that a sponsorship of this kind has happened in the world of twenty inch bikes.

Congratulations guys!

A new skate park opens in the Northeast!

Injury Report: Ron Wilkerson

April 18, 2000

While filming for the next 2-Hip video, Ron Wilkerson jumped off of a gas station roof and broke his thumb. The break was so bad that Ron's thumb actually was hanging out of place. A little surgery and four pins later and Ron was out of the hospital. Expect Ron to be back on his bike in about six or eight weeks.

Injury Report: Josh Heino

April 18, 2000

No, this isn't the wall ride that Josh blew his knee out on.

Josh Heino is currently resting in New Hampshire while he awaits knee surgery next month.

Josh blew his knee out and broke his tibia while doing a wall ride at the Louisville B3 contest during practice. The damage to his knee seems to be pretty severe; Josh has a torn acl, pcl and meniscus.

Heino will be undergoing knee surgery in Wyoming on May 8th. Josh told Ride that he hopes to be on his bike again in two to three months.

Unfortunately, this means that Josh won't be able to participate in the upcoming Road Fools Europe tour.

Best of luck towards a quick recovery Josh.

April 17, 2000

It seems that Jared had a rough weekend. It began by sitting through the ramblings of several car salesman and ended with a broken fingernail. These incidents are unrelated and as of yet Jared has not decided to purchase a new car. However, if you see a dead VW salesman chances are Jared may be running from the law.
