More facilities, more pros, more staff and more fun. Top pros from around the world came to Woodward this past summer, inspiring a redesign of the "Taj / Nate Dirt Jumps" and the new "Cage." It's a tribute to Woodward's commitment to Freestyle. Bud’s Barn

In the Spring of 1998 we added another indoor skate area called Bud’s Barn. This facility is loaded with beginner style ramps and grind ledges.

B3 Vert

In July of ‘98 we also added 2 new 12’ high outdoor Vert ramps in preparation for the ESPN B3 competition. The Vert ramps are complete with roll-ins, extensions and huge height poles.

The Cage

 

The “Cage” has been bumped up to a massive 15,600 sq. ft. of 1/4 pipes, banks, grind bars and too many transfers.

Dirt Jumps (Trails)

 

1998 saw Taj Mihelich hand the shovel over to veteran trail designer Nate Wessel who completely redesigned and expanded the Woodward Trails. There are now even more lines and more possibilities than ever before, and there's even more to come in 2000.

Woodward’s Training facilities are constantly improved to provide the ultimate in cutting edge terrain. Indoor and outdoor Skate/Inline/Freestyle area with 11’ x 112’ Vert ramp, multi-level 8’ to 7’ spine mini ramp, 100’ x 120’ street area with flat banks, pyramid ramps, 16’ x 66’ spine ramp, 20’ x 36’ mini-ramp, indoor bowls (6 1/2’ deep and 4’ deep with a hip) are included with a 6’ x 32’ mini ramp.
